[drop_cap]W[/drop_cap]elcome to the first installation of the new section we’d like to call Portrait Sessions. Portraits Sessions will be a series of portraits — duh — of cool people we come across in Mexico. Honestly, we haven’t really thought this through and the concept will likely change as we go. The next step is probably to include a short interview or something of the like. But for now let’s just say it’s a… Read more »
Since I started working in beauty I’ve been paying more attention to smells. Now everything I touch I have to smell first. Every perfume, every makeup product, every skin cream has to be approved by my nose, a nose with high standards. Back in December when I shot some photos for Elle Magazine I had the opportunity to get a whiff of La Petite Robe Noire eau de parfum. It was all… Read more »
The hipster drinking glass, otherwise known as the Mason jar, dates back to the 1850s when a hipster cowboy called John Mason came up with a totally cool new way of drinking water. Instead of using a glass like the boring normal people, he realized he could drink water from a jar. So he designed his own and named it after himself. The jar also turned to be great for preserving Read more »
Last year I saw the Grace Coddington’s book everywhere. I saw on instagram, on blogs, in people’s bathrooms. Everyone was getting it for Christmas. Except me. Santa fucked up. I was dying to read it. I, like millions of other girls, fell in love with Grace when I watched The September Issue. She was so damn cool with her burning bush hairstyle, and probably the only one in the building with the guts… Read more »

They are the easiest way to bring warmth and cozyness to… Read more »
El Vikingo and I love cooking and baking, and especially if it’s quick and easy (and beautiful). So we decided to combine our love for food with video making and produce a series of quick, easy and beautiful recipes. First one out is our favorite drink, Matcha Frappé. Bon Appétit!
Finally, last thursday Mexico celebrated its very first Vogue Fashion`s Night Out, and next year we will hold the same event but at this cheap photography studio rental in NYC. If you don`t know what I`m talking about, let me give you a quick explanation. In 2009 when the american economy was going to hell and everyone was afraid of spending money, Vogue USA, lead by Anna Wintour, had the idea to create a… Read more »
Just today I was telling El Vikingo how happy I am living in Mexico. I really like our neighborhood and our life here. But then I started thinking about our time in Shanghai, and after seeing some pictures and this video I could`t help but feel nostalgic. I really liked to live there too. I hope one day I will be back. I know I will.
Today, I couldn´t be happier to show you the latest Closet Voyeur, Why? Because for the very first time It was not just me doing this section, this time El Vikingo participated with his very own interpretation of The Closet Voyeur in video. Honestly, I think is really cool, but what can I say, I think everything he does is cool
