Do you remember the film Before sunset? The first time I watched it was in 2006 with El Vikingo (my boyfriend). We were both lying in the bed of a tiny apartment in Kalmar, Sweden. We were eating ice-cream. We said one day we will visit Paris and go to Shakespeare & Company, the bookstore where Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) the movie’s characters, meet again after nine years.

Five years later I went, but without El Vikingo. I really tought the first time I would visit the bookstore it would be with him. But during my visit in Paris I decided to go and explore it anyway (Sorry El Vikingo).

The store is amazing. Just as I imagined. And I bought a book, “Mastering the Art of French Cooking“, for the boyfriend.

I hope next time we will go together.
