Hoy el Lunes Escandinavo está dedicado a Greta Garbo, la Gran Actriz Sueca de los años 20’s y 30´s, una mujer talentosa y asertiva, enigmática hasta para sus amigos, quienes expresaron lo difícil que fue entenderla a menos que comprendieras la personalidad de los Suecos.
Se volvió famosa muy rápido, y después de años de éxito decidió vivir alejada de los medios, recluida en un departamento en Nueva York. Se decía que le tenia miedo a la prensa y a los fans.
Su actuación en el cine mudo de Hollywood fue impresionante, estaba claro que la voz no era importante cuando se poseían unos ojos tan expresivos.
Si están interesados en saber más acerca de su vida les recomiendo que vean el documental de Garbo, lleno de momentos mágicos y datos interesantes.
Sin duda Greta Garbo fue glamorosa, bella, talentosa, enigmática, femenina y asertiva todo al mismo tiempo.
Today Scandinavian Monday is dedicated to Greta Garbo, the great Swedish actress of the 20’s and 30´s, an assertive and talented woman, enigmatic even to her friends whose express how difficult was to understand her unless you understand the Swedes.
She got famous very fast, and after years of success she decided to live a private life, she recluse herself at her apartment in New York. She was afraid of the press and afraid to being approach by fans.
Her performance at Hollywood silent films was impressive, it was cleared that voice was not important when she had those expressive eyes.
If you are interested to know more about her I recommended to see Garbo´s documentary, full of magical moments and interesting facts.
With no doubt Greta Garbo was Glamorous, beautiful, talented, enigmatic, feminine and assertive all at the same time.

Siempre me ha parecido un gran misterio. Era muy enigmática. Recuerdo la película de “La muerte os sienta bien” donde Isabella Rossellini le dice a Meryl Streep que será joven (y bella) por siempre pero que deberá alejarse del medio para no levantar sospechas y da a entener que fue lo mismo que hizo Greta: “Quiero estar sola”.
