[He empezado a curiosear sobre la historia de mi familia, últimamente durante mi búsqueda de fotografías a rescatar de la destrucción del tiempo. Es un poco raro ver a la gente en fotos, las jóvenes caras de extraños que después se volvieron mis Padres y Abuelos. Este hecho de alguna manera pone todo en perspectiva, me ayuda a entender de donde vengo, pero también es un triste recuerdo de lo que ha sido y de que nada es para siempre. Las siguientes fotos provienen de la caja que trajo mi abuela el día de ayer. Tal vez publicaré algunas otras en las próximas semanas si encuentro algo interesante.] I’ve started digging through my family history, lately, hunting for photographs to rescue from the destruction of time. It feels a bit weird to see the people in the pictures, the young faces of strangers that later became my parents and grandparents and so forth. It sort of puts everything in perspective, helps me understand where I come from, but it’s also a sad reminder of what’s to come, that nothing lasts forever. The pictures below comes from a box my grandmother brought yesterday. Maybe I’ll post a few more over the next weeks if I find anything interesting.  a congratulatory telegram on my great grandparent's wedding day in 1930  this is my great grandfather Herman, holding my grandma in his arms. Esas fotos están muy impresionantes, sobre todo la de los abuelos en un cruce (donde estan las flechas de los caminos) esa y la última (grandfather 2009) como para exposición. Te felicito por rescatar ese tesoro familiar

Algo tienen las fotos antiguas que les da ese toque no? Nostálgico, y otra forma de apreciar los tiempos anteriores, muy muy bien todo que padre poder conservar todos esos recuerdos en foto (n_n)

Me encanta el posteo- Hace un mes mas o menos tuve que revisar archivos de mi familia para un trabajo de la facultad, y siempre es genial poder revisar lo que ocurrio en el pasado.

Las fotos tienen una capacidad para recrear el pasado fantástica. Incluso sin vínculo afectivo con ellas se podía ver como era otra época, otras vivencias.
Me encantan esas fotos antiguas.. Bueno, me encantan todas las fotos antiguas, jaja.. Eso de capturar eternamente una décima de segundo tiene su magia.

pero qué fotos tan buenas, yo buscaré si tengo, o tal vez le tenga que preguntar a la abuela, y si siempre es interesante sumergirse en esas memorias, y tienes razón, hay que aprovechar cada momento porque nada es para siempre!
