Copenhagen Fashion Week — Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair
Ayer para preparar esta entrada pase un rato viendo fotos de las pasarelas de casi todos los diseñadores Escandinavos que se presentaron en la Copenhagen Fashion Week. Después de un rato escogí a mi favorito, claro, fue la marca Sueca Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair. Los dos diseñadores de estas maravillosas prendas son Lee Cotter y Astrid Olsson.
Los primeros dos sets de imágenes son de su colección Otoño 09. Como pueden ver sus creaciones son algo que podríamos ver en la calle, me encanta la forma en la que crean esas siluetas impactantes con metros y metros de tela. En sus diseños se puede notar una confección tradicional que puede ser fácilmente utilizada como ropa casual (bueno algunos).
[Yesterday to prepare this post I spent some time looking at the runway pictures of almost every Scandinavian designer that presented their creations at the Copenhagen Fashion week. After a little while I picked my favorite, of course it was the Swedish label Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair. The two designers that create this stunning designs are Lee Cotter and Astrid Olsson.
The first two sets of pictures are from their Fall 09 collection. As you can see their pieces are highly wearable, I love the way they create astonishing silhouettes with meters and meters of fabric. You can find in their designs a traditional tailoring that could easily be wear as casual clothes. (well, some of them)]

Thanks for sharing these! I too love anything Scandinavian. I think they have some of the most innovative creatives out there. I’m loving these runway looks – the workmanship and use of fabric is amazing! I’m also a fan of anything draped or anything that uses volume effectively. Thanks for sharing – I’ll definitely check out the rest online!

El primer look en negro con blanco me encantó, seguro sí puedo forzar mi clóset un poco y hacer algo del estilo.
Y para el próximo año los calcetines rosa fosforecentes están maravillosos, yo seré fan!!

I am so in to Scandinavian fashion scene…they are really good at what they design (Some of my favourites are Acne, Mini Market and House of Dagmar)
The Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair is perfection! I love the draped dresses…i am going to be wearing a lot of that this Winter!
