tarde o temprano

¿Cuando fue la última vez que creaste algo? Tal vez perteneces al grupo de personas que dejaron de crear cuando paso su infancia, o cuando salieron del Kinder, o cuando tenían el tiempo y la imaginación, o tal vez no.

Ciertamente los artistas mantienen ese niño dentro de ellos, el niño que nunca se cansa de crear, colorear, imaginar, soñar. ¡Qué suerte tienen!

¿Pero como mantienen a ese niño vivo? ¿Existe una fórmula mágica? No estoy segura que la película Beautiful Losers tiene las respuestas a mis preguntas, pero definitivamente se que suena inspiradora. En la película, artistas lideres en su disciplina, relatan historias acerca de su vida y su pasión. Aquí les dejo el avance. Si quieren leer más acerca vayan a su sitio.

¿When was the last time you create something? Perhaps you are in the group of people that stopped creating things after childhood, when you finished kinder garden, when you had the time and the imagination or Perhaps you are not.

But how do they keep that child alive? Is there a magical formula? I´m not sure that the Film Beautiful Losers has the answer to my questions, but I definitively know that it will be inspiring. Antier no fui a trabajar y fui la guía de turista de mi amiga Claudine. El primer lugar que visitamos, por supuesto, fue el centro de la ciudad. Estábamos caminando cerca del Zócalo, exactamente detrás de la Catedral y encontramos el Centro Cultural España, decidimos entrar y dar un vistazo a la Exhibición de Artes Visuales. ¿Qué piensan de esto? ¿Cómo se sienten al leer una revista de moda? En mi caso me gustan las revistas de todo tipo, desde las de negocios hasta las de moda, especialmente cuando voy al baño, sí, soy una lectora de baño, pero tengo que confesarles que en las revistas de moda la mayoría del tiempo solo veo las fotos, hacen que mi imaginación vuele, todo el tiempo pienso en como tomaron esa escena, pienso en el maquillaje, en el estilo, en toda la gente que produce esa foto, y pienso en muchas muchas cosas pero ciertamente nunca me siento fea, pobre o mal.

In my case I like magazines, all kinds, from business to fashion, especially when I go to the toilette, yes I’m a magazine toilet reader, but I have to confess that most of the times in the fashion magazines I just look at the pictures, they make my imagination fly, I’m always thinking how they shot certain scene, I think about the makeup, about the style, about all the people involved, I think about many many things but certainly I never feel ugly, poor or bad. ]

El tiempo pasa, las cosas cambian. Les gusta el cambio? A mi si, de hecho me gusta demasiado, siempre es renovador intentar algo nuevo o ver algo cambiando. Desde cambiar de trabajo hasta cambiar de hobbies, desde cambiar la forma de pensar hasta cambiar la forma en la que luces, siempre hay algo evolucionando, mutando, provocándonos emociones.

[Time passes, things change. Do you like change? I do, actually I like it too much, it´s always refreshing to try something new or see something changing. From changing jobs to changing hobbies, from changing the way you think to changing the way you look, there is always something evolving, mutating, making things exciting. ]

Hablando del cambio encontré el proyecto de JK Keller, él ha tomado su foto todos los días desde Octubre de 1998. Chequen el proyecto y verán claramente cómo ha cambiado a través de los últimos 11 años! Impactante! Eso es lo que yo llamo perseverancia! Debe ser divertido ver día tras día como cambias; tal vez ustedes pueden empezar su proyecto.

[Talking about change I found JK Keller project, he has been taking a picture of himself each day since October 1998. Check out the project and you will see clearly how he has been changing through the last 11 years! Amazing! That´s what I called perseverance! Algunas veces cambiamos adoptando algo del pasado, sino porque hoy todo el mundo parece adorar lo vintage? Hemos visto que los diseñadores se inspiran en viejas tendencias, incorporándolas en las colecciones actuales, algunas veces nos gustan, otras las odiamos, pero la conexión con el pasado siempre está ahí.

[Sometimes we change going back to the basis, if not why today everybody seems to be into vintage? We can see the designers getting inspiration in old trends, bringing them back but adding an actual touch, sometimes we like it sometimes we don´t but the connection to the past is always there. ]

Este fue el primer diseño de Tarde o temprano, sí, están en lo correcto, no tenía ningún diseño, ni siquiera la imagen predeterminada que venía con el tema de wordpress, no me gustaba así que la quité. Espere y espere por la imagen perfecta para el blog pero esta nunca llego.

[This was the first Tarde o Temprano´s design, yes, you are right I didn’t have a design at all, not even the predeterminated image that came with the wordpress theme, I didn’t like it so I took it away. I wait and wait for a brilliant image for my blog, it never came.]

Después El Andy me dio el regalo más creativo que he recibido en mi vida, un nuevo diseño y mi dirección propia! Se veía chistoso con la Bere dibujada a mano por él, las flores y el sol. Ese día fue cuando me flecho la blogueada, me sentí inspirada y muy a gusto en el.

[Then El Andy gave me the most creative gift I have received in my life, a brand new blog design and my own site www.tardeotemprano.net! It looked cute with the Bere hand drawing by him and the flowers and the sun. That was the day when I fall in love with blogging, I just felt comfortable in my blog and inspired.]

Nos aburrimos de ver todos los días aquella Bere visca en el blog y otra vez El Andy decidió cambiarlo, el resultado fue el blog como luce el día de hoy, se ve más sencillo y limpio no creen? Pero….

Ayer fue una noche de primeras veces. Fue la primera vez que visite la Casa Nike en una de las Colonias mas trendy de México. También fue la primera vez que escuche a un rapero en vivo, de hecho creo que la única vez que he escuchado a alguien rapeando fue en la película de Eminem LOL, y finalmente fue la primera vez que tome Vitamin Water en una fiesta en lugar de cerveza, y yo amo la cerveza y más cuando es gratis! Pero he estado un poco enferma y obviamente el doctor me recomendó no tomar alcohol, buuuu.

[Yesterday was a night of firsts. It was my first time at Casa Nike located in one of the trendiest neighborhoods in México, It was also my first time listening to a rapper live, actually I think the only time I listened to someone rapping was Eminem in his movie LOL, and finally it was the first time drinking Vitamin Water in a party instead of beer, and I love beer and it was freeeee! but I have been a little bit sick and the doctor recommended not to drink alcohol, buuu.]

De todas formas me la pase muy bien, descubrí que disfruto el rap, especialmente el de Erick El niño y Classic Shit. Una de las canciones más chidas fue la de Dile que no, pueden visitar su site aquí.

En México el gobierno ha comenzado con campañas para promover el país, la gripe porcina tuvo un gran impacto en la industria del turismo, así que si tienen chance viajen en México. Aquí una foto que tome ayer, esta borrosa pero me gustó. Viva México y que tengan un excelente fin de semana!

[Here in Mexico the government started some campaigns to promote the country, the swine flu had a big impact in Mexican tourism industry, so if you have the chance to travel around México do it. Un par de meses atrás descubrí el proyecto llamado I love you more than blank, este proyecto es acerca de como medimos el amor. Como siempre decidí participar enviándoles mi propia medición. I love you more than tacos al pastor fue lo primero que se me vino a la mente. Yo realmente amo los tacos al pastor pero amo mas al Andy.

En verdad no quiero ponerme sentimental o cursi pero El Andy regresa a su hogar el domingo y necesitaba decirle una vez mas lo mucho que lo amo y lo mucho que lo extrañare.

A couple of months ago I discovered a project called I love you more than blank, which is about finding out how people measure their love. I decided to participate in the project sending my measurement; I love you more than tacos al pastor came to my mind right away. I truly love tacos al pastor but I love you more El Andy.

I really don´t want to get sentimental or cheesy but El Andy is going back to his home on Sunday and I needed to tell him one more time how much I love him and how much I´m going to miss him.

Y tu acerca de que eres optimista? Es una muy buena pregunta, la cual tiene miles de respuestas diferentes, claro, cada cabeza es un mundo con diversas percepciones.

Es muy interesante leer lo que personas alrededor del mundo contestan y fue así como pase un largo tiempo leyendo The optimist conspectus, este proyecto recopila pensamientos optimistas de cualquier persona que se anime a participar. Para algunas personas es más fácil ser optimista, pero para las que no lo son tanto les recomiendo ir al sitio y tomar su extra dosis de optimismo, en verdad en épocas difíciles es bueno recordar que siempre hay esperanza.

Y en la sección de colaboraciones ahora es el turno de mi Bro Jean el ya casi arquitecto

Cadillac Ranch fue uno de los proyectos del grupo de arquitectos denominado Ant Farm, los cuales realizaron diferentes creaciones desde 1968 y hasta 1978.

Este proyecto consistía en la colocación de diferentes automóviles de la Marca Cadillac, los cuales eran enterrados a un costado de la salida de la carretera Interstate 40, cerca de Amarillo Texas.

Una de las peculiaridades de este arte era que los automóviles eran semienterrados en el mismo ángulo que la Gran Pirámide de Giza en Egipto.

De acuerdo con sus creadores el Proyecto Cadillac Ranch intentaba representar la paradoja del sueño americano, esto es, la combinación del rancho y carreteras con la movilidad y libertad que representa un automóvil.

Navegando por ahí me encontré con el nombre de la artista Japonesa Yayoi Kusama quien ha creado una gran cantidad de obras donde se puede notar su obsesión con la repetición de patrones y acumulación de puntos de diferentes colores. Ya desde los 7 años tenía esta fijación por los puntos que se reflejaron en el primer dibujo que realizo de su madre.

Con Yayoi Kusama se confirma el dicho popular de “nadie es profeta en su tierra” ya que fue ignorada casi toda su vida como artista en su propio país; ella declara que es hasta ahora que la empiezan a reconocer como artista y hasta quieren comprar sus obras.

Actualmente Yayoi Kusama vive en un hospital psiquiátrico donde sigue expresando su forma de ver el mundo a través del arte, y es esto lo que ella declara la ha mantenido viva hasta la fecha. De no ser por su locura tal vez jamás hubiera podido crear estas obsesivas obras de arte.

Me gustaría estar un poco más loca para ver el mundo de una forma diferente, fuera de la caja.
