Todo mundo sabe qué tipo de productos vende Tiffany, pero Sabían que tiene una colección de artículos para preparar los drinks? Yo no sabía, así que inspirada por esto en lugar de mostrarles anillos, brazaletes y collares les voy a dar una receta para que preparen un delicioso Coctel.

Estaba buscando en la página los precios, tal vez podría comprarme algo, pero no, para nada, por ejemplo las toallas para el baño cuestan ¡170 usd! Y no hablemos de las famosas bolsas Birkin, las favoritas de Victoria Beckham, parece que las mas baratitas cuestan ¡5000usd!

Estaba pensando que postear el día de hoy mientras veía en la tele los Simpsons, por suerte me encontré esta Editorial de Harper´s Bazaar Agosto 2007, Los Simpsons van a Paris con Linda Evangelista en el sitio Cyana Trend Land. No pude evitar postear las imágenes en Tarde o temprano por algunas razones.

3) El destino me guio a este descubrimiento, je
4) No me importa si no es nuevo y si estuvo o estará en el blog de todo mundo. Es simplemente perfecto y adorable como para perder la oportunidad

Como recordarán El Andy se despidió de México el 24 de Mayo, !Si! Exactamente hace un mes, desde entonces casi cada noche hemos estado hablando por Skype al menos por 30 minutos.

Tal vez ahora puedan categorizar esta relación como algún tipo de Online dating. Obvio es horrible el estar separados pero aun así nos las arreglamos para de cualquier forma divertirnos. Los fines de semana mientras yo cocino, como o limpio mi cuarto él me ve a través de la cámara e interactuamos como si estuviéramos en el mismo cuarto, algunas veces hasta llevo mi computadora al baño si necesito maquillarme o peinarme.

Una cosa que no hemos intentado a través de la webcam es nuestra batalla de baile y Voguing, tal vez este fin de semana, hahaha

[As you remember El Andy left Mexico on May 24th, Yes!, exactly a month ago, and since then almost every night we have been talking through Skype for at least 30 minutes.

One thing we haven´t try to do through the webcam is our dance and Vogue battle, maybe this weekend, hahaha ]

Presidente Masaryk? ¿No? bueno para darte una vaga idea piensa en Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills, o en Paseo de Gracia Barcelona, te apuesto que la primera imagen que vino a tu mente fue: tiendas caras y lujosas, ¿estoy en lo correcto? entonces ahora solamente añade a la imagen algunas tiendas menos caras, cafés, restaurantes internacionales y el Folklor mexicano, ahora si tienes una idea más cercana a como luce Masaryk.

[Have you been at Av. Presidente Masaryk? No? well to give you a vague idea think in Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, or in Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, I bet the first image that came to your mind was expensive and luxury stores, am I right? Then now just add to that image some low cost stores, cafes, international restaurants and the Mexican folklore, now you will get a pretty close idea of what Masaryk looks like.]

Masaryk es mi segunda avenida favorita aquí en la ciudad de México (la primera Reforma), de hecho he escuchado que gente la llama la Quinta Avenida Mexicana . Es por esto que ésta es una excelente oportunidad mostrarles las maravillosas tiendas ubicadas en la misma.

En la primera parte “de compras por Masaryk” Botica Pop les mostró y habló de dos tiendas. American Apparel y Hugo Boss. Ahora es mi turno.

Así que empezamos esta parte de la guía de compras de aparador (window shopping) con Max Mara.

[Masaryk is my second favorite avenue in Mexico City (the first one is Reforma), I even heard some people call it the Mexican Fifth Avenue . That´s why this is a great opportunity to show you the nice stores located at it.

In the first part of "de compras por Masaryk" Botica Pop already talked about two stores American Apparel and Hugo Boss. Now is my turn.

So we start this part of the window shopping guide with Max Mara.]

Cruzando la calle, justamente enfrente de Max Mara encontraran las tiendas de Diesel y Kosiuko

Diesel es otra marca Italiana conocidísima por sus colecciones mezclilleras y su creativo estilo urbano. Que pueden encontrar en la tienda de Diesel? Seguro fotos creativas y decoraciones que pueden ser todo menos aburridas.

[Crossing the street, just in front of Max Mara you will find Diesel and Kosiuko.

Diesel is another Italian brand well known for their denim collections and their creative and urban style. What can you find at a Diesel Store? For sure creative pictures and decoration that are everything but boring.]

Al lado de Diesel esta la tienda Kosiuko, una marca Argentina. ¿Han visto el video de Britney Spears Overprotected? Bueno pues el vestido y los jeans que uso fueron regalados por los dueños de Kosiuko. Se dice que a la Spears le gustó mucho la ropa y otra vez uso algunas prendas en I am not a Girl, Not yet a Woman y en el video the Crossroads.

[Next to Diesel is Kosiuko store, an Argentinean brand. Have you seen Britney Spears video Overprotected? well the dress and the pair of jeans she used were offered by the Kosiuko owners. After that it seemed that Spears liked the clothes and again she used some of them at I am not a Girl, Not yet a Woman and in the Crossroads Film. ]

Cruzamos la calle otra vez y encontramos a Etro, otra casa italiana fundada primero como casa textil en 1958. Después de algunos años la compañía se expandió en el mercado ready to wear, fragancias y accesorios. La construcción clásica de sus diseños es la principal característica de sus looks.

[Crossing the street again is Etro, another Italian house founded first as a textile house in 1968. After some years the company expanded into ready to wear, fragrances and accessories. The classic tailoring of their designs is the signature look. ]

Life is full of things you don’t really need, but still feel that you can’t live without. Like pants (life would probably be much better without them). Or chocolate doughnuts (no wait, that’s not true. One really can’t live without chocolate doughnuts).

Anyway, Swedish design store Designtorget is ridiculously full of those kind of things. Here are just a few examples that recently made it onto my shopping list, just above food and underwear.

And oh, I’m listing the prices in Swedish Kronors (sek). And 1 Sek is about 1.7 pesos, más o menos.

[La vida está llena de cosas que realmente no necesitas, pero que a pesar de esto no puedes vivir sin ellas. Como los pantalones (la vida probablemente sería muchísimo mejor sin ellos), o las donas de chocolates (no, esperen, eso no es verdad, no podríamos vivir sin donas de chocolates)

De cualquier forma, la tienda Sueca Designtorget esta ridículamente llena de ese tipo de cosas. Aquí algunos ejemplos que puse en mi lista de compras, de hecho primero que la comida y ropa interior.
